Help for North Dakota Producers Print

Producers in North Dakota are experiencing extreme drought conditions and are in need of some help. Producers who have hay to sell or with pasture or hayland to rent can call a hotline that he North Dakota Department of Agriculture has set to help ranchers affected by the drought. The number is 701-425-8454. Individuals who contact the hotline will provide their name, contact information, and what they can provide. They will then be entered into the Drought Hotline database to be matched up with other individuals who may need help. North Dakota Department of Ag employees will answer calls on weekdays from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. but callers can also leave a message on evenings and weekends.  If you can help or have hay or pasture land available give them a call.
